Until further notice The BPPP seven panel exhibition will be on display at the Royal Armouries: Leeds.

Mid-June 2008 (for 6 months)

"The Balkans Peace Park as a cultural landscape" - Jesse Quinn has compiled a contribution to the European Greenbelt  Exhibition, through A Wider View Foundation, which will be on display in Utrecht. Jesse is a Colgate graduate, who interned with the Shala Valley Project/Balkans Peace Park Project in Albania in the summer of 2006.
This Balkans Peace Park contribution was chosen as one of the 30, out of about 400 projects on the IUCN European Greenbelt. The exhibition is open Tuesdays-Sundays, 10.00 till 17.00. It will be closed on l6th, l7th and 23rd of August
On the weekend of 13th-14th September (National Heritage weekend) there will be a lot of activities and visitors around Radio Kootwijk. It will be closed on 18th and 25th-27th of September.

June 16th - August 9th, 2008 The BPPP Summer Programme: Voices from Thethi will be held in Thethi, Northern Albania. For more information please read the project precis (a .pdf document).
9th August llam - Graduation in Thethi, Albania. Around 60 pupils are expected to graduate from the Summer Programme. star
20th September Balkans Peace Park Project AGM. 2.30pm at the Peace and Reconciliation Centre in Coventry.

ONGOING EVENTS

  • The BPPP 7-panel exhibition is available for display. There are currently 2 copies of it, one in the US and the other in the UK. For more information please look at our BPPP EXHIBITION page.
  • Fatos Lajci has produced a film of the first BPPP trek. It is currently being shown around the BPP area. For more information Fatos can be contacted through Antonia Young.
